Gratis muziek streamen, horeca- en stadsinformatie en kaarten op de best geprijsde Nokia Lumia
Er is reikhalzend naar uitgekeken en er zijn al diverse awards met deze budgetsmartphone gewonnen: de prachtige Nokia Lumia-familie wordt in Nederland uitgebreid en vanaf volgende week is de Nokia Lumia 610 hier verkrijgbaar. De Lumia 610 richt zich op een jonge doelgroep die behoefte heeft aan een betaalbare kennismaking met Lumia en Windows Phone. De PeopleHub in de smartphone maakt het eenvoudig mogelijk om contact te onderhouden met vrienden, geeft met een tikje op het touchscreen toegang tot alle sociale netwerken en brengt telefoon-, e-mail-, Facebook-, Twitter- en LinkedIn-contacten op één overzichtelijke plek samen. Daarnaast is het eenvoudig surfen op het web dankzij Internet Explorer en is er direct toegang tot games via Xbox Live. De Lumia 610 maakt internet-sharing mogelijk en heeft flip-to-silence: de beltoon wordt het zwijgen opgelegd door eenvoudigweg het toestel om te draaien. De verkoopadviesprijs is slechts 249 euro inclusief btw, exclusief subsidies. De Lumia 610 is verkrijgbaar in wit, zwart, magenta en cyaan.

Wazapp, de Whatsapp oplossing voor de Nokia N9, heeft wederom een update gehad, die keer weer binnen de 0.2.x reeks. Het changelog:
- Added support for displaying received Emoji (Thanks to @knobtviker)
- Fixed interpreting login failure as a connection error, resulting in reconnect loop then segmentation fault
- Fixed crash during sync because of encoding issue (resulting in "No Contacts" after sync), thanks to enki71
- Fixed notifications clicks for people not in contacts
- Fixed connection crash when push name has non ASCII chars (resulting in "Connecting" forever)
- Added Country picker in Registration instead of entering Country Code manually

Wazapp, de Whatsapp oplossing voor de Nokia N9, heeft wederom een update gehad. Deze update brengt de versie van de 0.1.x naar de 0.2.x releases. En terecht, gezien het changelog:

Jazeker het is zover. Wazapp, de WhatsApp oplossing voor de Nokia N9 is beschikbaar gesteld als beta. De ontwikkelaar Tarek Galal heeft beta 0.1.6 beta 0.1.7 beta 0.1.8 ter beschikking gesteld op Wazapp.im.
De huidige versie bevat nog niet alle functionaliteit die WhatsApp normaal te bieden heeft. Sterker nog, op dit moment beperkt het zich tot de basisfunctionaliteit. Het is mogelijk om tekstberichten te sturen en ontvangen. Maar dat is een mooi begin vergeleken met geen WhatsApp

De Nokia 808 PureView is nog niet aangekomen in Nederland, maar dat is een kwestie van tijd. Dit toestel, gekenmerkt door zijn absurd goede camera draait op Nokia's Symbian Belle met Feature Pack 1. Dit is bijna dezelfde software als op de Nokia N8 en latere modellen staat. Maar qua hardware wordt de N8 toch voorbij gestreefd.
En voor al dat moois is inmiddels een mooie site: de PureViewClub.
De site bestaat nog niet zo lang, maar er staan nu al een paar indrukwekkende filmpjes en video's op die gemaakt zijn met de Nokia 808 PureView. Ik kan niet wachten tot ik dat toestel zelf eens aan de tand mag voelen.
