Firefox 1.5 Release Candidate Candidates
Owboy. Je verzint het niet, maar toch is het zo.
De community vraagt je aandacht en wil graag een aantal RC 1 candidates testen. De aandacht bij de testen ligt op de volgende zaken:
- Any webmail applications, banking and financial institution sites
- Installing extension and themes
- General browser surfing
Voor het testen en vooral voor het doorgeven van bugs gelden een aantal extra 'richtlijnen'. Voor het spoedig oplossen van de laatste bugs en het op korte termijn vrijgeven van deze nieuwe generatie browser en e-mailclient is het belangrijk je aan deze richtlijnen te houden.
(1) In order to minimize duplicate bugs, please consult the Bugzilla Hot Bugs link (most commonly filed) as well as The Bugs Filed Today before you file any bugs. You should also seach in Bugzilla to see if a bug has already been filed to address your issue.(2) If you crash, make sure to include the Talkback ID in your blog comment or in the bug. It is also not necessary to paste the entire stack trace in the bug.
I am going to set up some test runs in Testrunner soon, in the meantime you can download these builds and you post your comments to the blog or in Bugzilla.
We are also planning a community testing day that will likely happen on Friday, stay tuned for more information.
